Ryan Irwin
Ryan Irwin has been involved in natural bodybuilding since 1993. He won his IFPA Pro Card in 2009 at the USA after competing 17 times to get there. Previous titles include 2005 Great Northern overall open winner and 1998 Best of the Midwest Collegiate class winner. Ryan also competes in powerlifting and his won pro powerlifter status by winning the overall national title in the NASA Powersports division in Jan 2010 in OK. He holds many national records as well. Ryan is married to Mandee, has two children, Genesis and Eli. He owns a supplement store, along with a personal training studio and does nutrition/training/peaking coaching. Natural Iowa and Central Midwest Championships
This is one of the longest running competitions in the NANBF and is held in Des Moines, Iowa, typically the first or second weekend in May. Started in 1994 by Scot Dickerson, this event has grown to one of the largest contests in the NANBF. Being a pro-qualifier and the history of running smoothly has allowed it to regularly have over 100 competitors. Best of the Midwest Physique & Strength Championships
Held in Cedar Rapids Iowa in October, this event has been promoted for over 16 years. In 2010, history was made as the NANBF hosted its first every powerlifting meet held in conjunction with the physique contest. This competition is co-promoted by Ryan and Al Steil, who pride themselves on running a quality, competitor-friendly event.
