Marla Battles

 

Marla is a Pro Figure and Pro Masters Bodybuilder competitor that moved from Kansas City to the Pacific Northwest in the summer of 2008.  She is married and has two kids where they reside in Bellevue, WA.  Having been a part of the NANBF while living in KC where she earned her pro card, and later as a judge and helper with various show's in the Midwest, Marla knew she wanted to promote her own show someday.  Moving to Washington provided that opportunity as she worked to expand the presence of natural bodybuilding on the West Coast.  Marla is happy to say that last year, the first year of her show, went very smoothly and put down a great foundation for many successful shows in the years to come. They had some great competition and Marla is looking forward to growing the competitor numbers each year as the word spreads.  

She is very proud of her sport and hopes to be part of changing the negative image of bodybuilding, along with the other promoters and athletes in the area, that has permeated the sport for so many years due to muscle enhancing drug usage.
