John & Ebie Nickerson

 John & Ebie Nickerson reside in Issaquah, WA with their 4 children.  John began his initial interest in fitness in 1991 while living in Italy.  He had no formal training in the fitness world when he was challenged by a professional bodybuilder to do an amateur bodybuilding show. He took on that challenge and went off to prepare for the show. After 6 weeks of training he completed the show and placed 6th out of 9 in his weight class.  From that moment forward his life was transformed and he knew he would use the gym to encourage others.  He began studying and received many certifications in fitness, while working together with other trainers and coaches.  In 2000 as a Certified Personal Trainer John opened Unico Fitness.  Today as a Lifetime Drug Free Natural Bodybuilder, he has competed in over 15 bodybuilding shows nationally and internationally, placing in the top 3 in all but 2 of his shows.  In 2009 John achieved one of his dreams at the Washington State, Arlington, WA by placing 1st in Master light and Master overall earning him his Pro-card.  But John feels his biggest accomplishments are when he helps others achieve their health, wellness and fitness goals!  He is excited to join the NANBF team and continue spreading the word in the Pacific NW and surrounding areas, with local promoters, about drug free Natural Bodybuilding and Fitness.
